Latisse Eyelashes

February 27, 2012 · Posted in Daily Health News

Latisse is the first prescribed treatment approved by the FDA, which is used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker and darker. Latisse eyelashes may usually last for 1-2 months. When applied regularly, latisse may result in the growth of significantly longer, fuller and darker upper eyelid lashes.

The application of latisse should be done perfectly. With a fresh applicator for every lid, a drop of latisse solution should be placed on applicator. Application of the drop should be to the base of the upper eyelid where the lash base meets the skin of the eyelid. Any excess solution should be blotted off with a dry tissue. Latisse is meant to be applied to the lid, not to the eye itself; however, if a small amount of the solution enters the eye, it will not harm the eye.

The initial results of latisse may be seen from 4-8 weeks of continual use, and full results may be seen after 16 weeks of the initial use. Latisse eyelashes may grow fuller, thicker and darker without make-up or prosthetics.
